Massive Black Workshop 2013

 Finally got the chance to attend an MB workshop and boy, am I ever glad I did.  I was really looking forward to watch Michael Hussar paint, as I am a big fan of his alla prima paintings.  Hussar was great, but I was really surprised to see Ron and Vanessa Lemen there as attendees painting as well.  It was a definite treat!

Morocco or Bust

I got to spend two weeks on a whirlwind trip through Morocco and had a blast.  I did not have as much time to myself for sketching as I thought I would have, but still got in a couple pages here and there.  I snapped hundreds of photos of the people, the landscape, food, and architecture; but still it was nice to be able to sit back, take my eyes away from the viewfinder and lcd screen, and take everything in through analog.
One of my all-time favorite things to do is to sit in a cafe with good espresso and a sketchbook and people-watch.  I was happy I got to do some of that while in Morocco :)
